Welcome to the Michal Plecity Legacy Cup

Michal Plecity was a valuable member of the soccer community in Kitchener-Waterloo for over 20 years. His vibrant personality allowed him to connect with people far beyond the soccer pitch. To remember Michal purely as a soccer player, a coach, or a manager is a huge understatement. For many of us Michal was a mentor, an advisor, a big brother, and a friend. His smile was bright and his laugh contagious. Soccer was Michal’s passion but his love of people and giving to others, especially his family, was his lifetime priority. Michal’s many talents will be missed. His great spirit, competitiveness, and pursuit of excellence will always be with us through the Legacy Cup.
